Skills Workshop - Students

This one day workshop is for H.S.C students in the preparation for major works, it will cover: a variety of sewing machine skills suitable for experimentation then implementation of ideas to produce a unique major work. Techniques include lace making, free-hand stitching and embroidery, solvie work, wire work, pizza and confetti fabric making. She also provided the environment to get the best out of the Bernina Sewing machines by using a wide variety of sewing machine feet to enhance the surface of fabric by braiding, fagoting, twin needling, couching and applique work.

Skills Workshop - Adults

This one or two day workshop is for sewing groups who wish to gain as much from their sewing machines as possible.

Free hand stitching, thread painting and lace making can be so much fun and those participating will produce individual pieces of work depending upon fabric,thread colours and fabric combinations. Usually a theme or a defined project will be undertaken depending upon demand.
